Well, that's sensible. So, I imagine you would suggest to beg for food along the way? I'll need a proper back pack. And I'll need to know how to swim a whole lot better than I do know. So, I'll need lessons at the local swimming pool. And that don't come cheap!

Then walk across russia and yerp and then all you gotta do is swim the channel, which is easy because even that gay one off of little britain managed it. The part you talk about is Alaska, USA. The US, some time ago, bought Alaska from Russia. It's an odd bit of geography but it does not belong to Canada or the Russians.
