Okay, we've seen threads for favorite Combiner team and favorite Gestalt robot, but what about favorite individual member of a Combiner team?

I like Hun-grr (his two heads make wonderful feet) and Blot (I just like him) of the Terrorcons and Onslaught of the Combaticons (his minibase secondary alt mode is very cool).

Blot's a ledge- what does he turn into? It's anyone's guess!

I'm an Onslaught and Brawl fan, I must say. Though I'm very fond of Strafe too.

Combiner team members need more characterisation. I should start a league against wasted TF characters.

Toywise it's Brawl, Afterburner and Overbite (Jawbreaker...) overall, and Hun-Grr, Cutthroat and Rippersnapper for their alt modes.

Character wise it's Dead End and Swindle.

There's no Predacon here since they were invisible in the cartoon and I haven't head the toys until 2004, and even then they went back into the box immediately.

Character wise I'd agree with Iceman and go with Swindle and Dead End.

Toy wise probably looking at Brawl, Strafe and Streetwise

The Predacons were given some individuality in the Marvel UK comic, particularly Divebomb's rivalry with Swoop, so they always stood out more as individual characters rather than some of the other gestalt characters - ironic as they were never available as toys here...

Character-wise, I'd say.....

Protectobots - Hotspot
Constructicons - Mixmaster
Aerialbots - Fireflight
Combaticons - Swindle
Stunticons - love 'em all!  Couldn't pick just one!

I thought I was the only one.
In fact I liked all the Protectobots except First Aid, toy wise.

Combaticons - Swindle
Technobots - Strafe - because between my brother and I, we had Strafe and Nose Cone.
Stunticons - MotorMaster
And the rest, eh.

i love afterburner (harely davidson crossed with a light bike from Tron) and strafe, my favourite would be lightspeed's alt mode, i thinks its awesome pity his robot mode looks like friar tuck.

My fave aerialbot chrachter would be silverbolt (obviously) though im not a huge fan of his toy.

the protecrobots streetwise has a really nice toy so Perceptor and wheeljack are not the only ones.

Stunticons, motomaster is awesome.

I've put some thought into Lightspeed a few years ago, and the toy could have been improved by HasTak without much effort.

The toy has a large white canopy (chest) and a relatively short front end (legs). The cartoon has it more the other way around.
Now if they would have made the chest shorter and the legs larger, it would still look good in alt mode but also look better in robot mode. Also, because the total length is the same it does not affect his limb modes.

So, how do I apply for a job at HasTak?

Alan is a combiner! He gets my vote, just for the great name.

Either Mixmaster, for being nucking futs, or Swindle for having the balls to try and extort Galvatron.

Don't forget selling the left-over pieces of his exploded team mates!

Oh yeah, that too.

Fortunately Swindle isn't a TF collector in real life, he'd be the worst scalper of all...

"I bet you'd sell your own grandmother on ebay!"
"No I wouldn't."
"Well that's a relief."
"...because I already did."

We should make an official fan club, ya know. And sneak on set once in a while to try and pester him only for him to alert security and get us kicked out of his trailer.

Other than that, I like Long Haul. Since he was the only combiner I personally owned as a kid. Him and Dead End. Since he was also one I had in the house, but wasn't mine.

I like Hot Spot and Skydive as my fave members. Onslaught, Swindle, Blades and Fireflight come close.

Onslaught, now he rocks.

Hard to pick a serious favourite though. Aerialbots are just *yawn*, I DO like Dead End, partly due to the character and partyl due to him being the first combiner character I had, I tihnk the combaticons in general just kick ass, especially Swindle...the decepticon combiners seem much more interesting overall.

Oh yeah, Dead End was the pessimist, wasn't he?

-If we hand them our energon, we're doomed.
-But if we don't, we're doomed too!
-Face it, we're doomed.
