As the title says, however Michael Bay has said
"I've been writing Transformers 2," said Bay. "We've got our characters
all designed. I always write all my scripts, my movies anyway so at
least I've got something to give the writers. It's like a template. We
have a really good outline so I worked on that."
It might be a tad unorthodox, but Bay has high pressure demands. "We
had to because I want to make my date. I'm not going to let the strike
take me down."
Sounds like things are well prepared then. All we need now is the actual writers to insert 'humor' and flesh things out with actual lines and try to remove a few of the explosions. I'm fearing for the designs, as if they are already done, there is no chance for fan feedback.

Aren't Hasbro the ones who finally decide on which characters appear? I'm pretty sure they care about who'll be on the shelves when the movie is released.
As for characters and the 'Bayformer' style, I think it'll be sticking. Arcee is a completed design so I reckon they may keep her. This has just made me think of something that may deserve it's own thread.

Hasbro do Choose, however if the Numpty has already chosen his Character God forbid then...who knows. As for you thread idea tis a cunning plan, so I have just thought I would answer it and have.

Bay wont use Arcee, as he though she was too small he almost did not use Jazz for the same reason. He mentioned well before the 1st was released if he ever did a sequel unicron would be in it. I hope he meant in the last 1 as i don't like unicron and don' want him in it. But that is before the 1st was a sucsess he may have been pandering to people. As long as no unicron and i don't ruin much of the movie for myself by watching loads of youtube clips it will be fine. I just want to know the characters and maybe alt modes no pics or vids as i think that spoilt it alot for me. Im just too nosey and was way too over excited. I always get too carried away.

Thats what Gm provided. Hasbro wanted to know vehicles before the 1st script was finished f22, buffalo, police car, tank, ect. Nmaes were put on them, later. He did say 'epic scale' for the new one. So maybe combiners or biger robots. Or maybe he meant many more transformers. Who knows as long as no unicron. Bya likes bigger transformers lets hope not too big.

He says he knows all about the transformers universe after attending transformes school at hasbro. As for the decepticon name blooper maybe he did not choose the names. I did not like megatrons face or alt mode or Sam, also the heads but it was a introduction, the 1st is never really that great, its the sequel what makes its mark. I don't know who could have done a better job than Bay to introduce the movie even though i am a little pissed at the intro as for me it was not needed. Maybe the pop corn muches needed it. Also if it were not also designed for them it would not have been that succsesful and a sequel would not be made. Its a trade of anyone of us would have made to get the trilagy out. He made a gamble and it paid off. Im not like some 'its the greatest thing ever made' or others 'micheal bay ruined my childhood'. But it was the only way to bring it to a main street audience. Maybe we could have done a better story job, but with no money or special effects it would be poor indeed. Lets Miceal have a 2nd shot im sure we wont be disapointed, the 1st was not great but not bad ether. For most of use we over hiped and over excited our selves like kids waiting for christmas only to realise we did not get all the x box games or all transformers we wanted. But smiled and siad thankyou and hoped next time it willbe better but were gratefull for what we got. Go Micheal Bay,

Quite a few people were not grateful.
I Hope that they haven't just gone for the 'I LIKE WAR AND SHOOTING THINGS' Transformers. I really want a diversity of characters and slightly different designs.

I hope Bay has more variety of characters in the second film. I think having Arcee would be something different being a female and all.
I wonder if she's going to be a motorcycle? It'd be different. In the first show there was all these cars and planes and tanks. Why not have a motorcycle instead? True, there are more inpressive things to choose from, but let's get some variety in there Bay!

Unfortunately it seems to be going that way, with Arcee. However a motorbike, Could you think of anything better against massive Decepticons? ermmm maybe a skateboard? Perhaps there will be more annoying bots like Frenzy in there, so we can have a mini battle royal? Hornsswaggle vs Big Show kinda thing However having said that Blackout was taken out by a sliding motorbike and Human being on it, way to go Mr. Bay.

A motorbike would make a really small robot mode. The only reason the Arcee movie toy is anywhere near the size of the other deluxes is because it is ridiculously oversized.

Yep, and that is why I do not wish to see here in the Movie. Carting Spike left and right? He has BB his Biatch? She fits in BB as well So further options, yes one of the military chaps, or even worse more Humans introduced.

I want to see Kup. He's awesome. I'd rather more Series one and two bots though to begin with. Kup, Magnus and Galvatron are the exceptions.
