Right, roll call of who's interested and when you can or can't do and then I'll do some organising.

NORTHERN IMAXS ARE AT: Birmingham, Manchester and Bradford.

How far North?

I went to Shipley last month and I don't want to push my luck with too much northernliness in too short a time period.

Im interested in either the manky one or bratfud (for that is how tis pronounced). Also the missus didnt wanna go with me to see it again so will be an ideal opportunity to get my eyes filled with robotty goodness without nagging. Oh, and tuesday evenings and sundays are generally bad, so dont organise it for either of those. Ta. Oh, and bring sweets too, i am hungry.

Well my own first choice would be Bradford, but Manc's an option too.

I think a saturday is probably gonna be best for everyone.

What other places of entertainment or Transformery goodness are there in Manchester? I don't know the area anywhere near well enough. Bradford on the other hand I know fairly well.

I know bratfud quite well too, and as such would really prefer to go to manky...

Apparantly it's on Dantzig street wherever that is. I was under the impression it was in the trafford centre.

mind your language young fella! Bradford is no dump (read forum rules)

IMAX Bradford
National Museum of Photography Film & Television
Bradford
West Yorkshire
BD1 1NQ

Birmingham was listed in the top 3 and top 5 as one of Britain's worst towns, as well as Manchester, in 3 different Top 10's Bradfor was not listed, as well as Uddersfield. Granted the Imax is old in comparison to others I was there as a kid, when we lived in England and it was a great attraction. The screen was and is good enough. I read somewhere the seats have been done up, so it should be comfortable. I am well P***ed that I can not join you, or even visit one in England. Have Fun, "no matter the cost"

It is across the way from The Alhambra, with good parking (sort of) and across from the Police station. Easy to get to, and to find.

Birmingham is a great place to live, and anyone who says otherwise is nothing but a feculent cocoa shunter.

I'd probably prefer a Bradford trip to a Manchester trip, since I loathe Manchester. Plus, if I accidentally get drunk/lost, I can head for sanctuary with aforementioned mates in Shipley.

They don't live on a barge, unfortunately. That would be quite marvellous.

Printworks is right in the main city centre of Manchester, right next to Victoria station and Urbis.

It's a really good cinema too, I went to see Superman Returns on the IMAX there
