My fave minibot is as follow:

1 Cliffjumper:He describes my character.
2 Cosmos:His alt mode is weird to some of you,but his alt mode allows him to perform space missions pretty fast without using space bridges.
3 Huffer:His robot mode looks like a monster(when i get him,i am going to scare my sister,hihihihi ).
4 Seaspray:Just like Cosmos,he is able to perform not space missions but marine missions, which some robots can't.
5 Swerve:His character says it all!!!!!!

Windcharger, too.  I believe it was the first TF I got.  His legs kept falling off but were easy to put back in place.

Toywise I really love Pipes and Beachcomber - I have two and three of them respectively.

As for character, they never really stood out to me except Bumblebee who I don't really like. Although Outback was pretty cool with that Aussie accent in the cartoon.

Bumblebee is the most iconic so I love him.
Apart from him I'd have to say Huffer and Windcharger. I like Huffer's design, and Windcharger is one of the only characters I can think of who has a unique ability.

I have never liked Cliffjumper.  He's like Brawn but his bravado and boasting could never be backed up as he was nearly useless at everything except transforming.

Hm, tough call.

Windcharger has a special place for me as he was my first ever transformer.  Man, remember the days when you could buy a MISP minibot for £1.99?

I also liked Huffer as a toy together with Cliffjumper.

Finally, an honourable mention must go to Brawn - one of the early comics saw him and starscream go nuts.  Brawn going mental was a nice change to his cartoon persona.
