i know there are loads of threads are about this

but

i was watching the movie again and i have noticed a there is more than 1 missing scene from the fight between megs and prime

there's the bit that we know of where Prime walks in and says one stall stand one shall fall, then gets up from knelling, but after prime says that's a question you should ask yourself Megatron, meg's response is no i will crush you with my bare hands.

it's that bit i think has another missing bit, megs is pointing the cannon at prime, is that a part of the other bit.

Chris did mention something about that in his commentary on the Ultimate Edition DVD.  However, I cannot remember what it was exactly without checking it.

Wasn't there a bit where a copule or so 'Con's tried to muscle in on the action during the fight and Prime takes care of them in quick succession (or is that the missing scene that causes Prime to get on his knees)?

will have to listen to Chris' commentary

edit: have listened, does say about megs looking at Devvy, then tuning to prime who then gets attacked by Dirge, but no anything about what megs is pointing his cannon at and surprisingly nothing about the deleted scene when astrotrain flies off

I read something about this somewhere too.  IIRC, after Megs says "Why throw away your life so recklessly?", Dirge leaps at Prime from behind, but Prime spins round, grabs him, smashes him into the floor and blasts him.  Then replies "That's a question you should ask yourself, Megatron."

I may be wrong, but that's the way I remember hearing about it - think it was in an online interview somewhere, but I'll be damned if I know where... Come to think of it, wasn't this scene actually storyboarded for the movie, but then excluded?

In the early promo vids, it showed Diaclone Magnus, as well as a different design for Autobot City.

I heard that originally the intention was to have Magnus in those colours but got second thoughts at an early stage. I see what you mean about Autobot City: it looks like a half transformed, half standing armed to the teeth Metroplex.

There's always another option: to reanimate the missing scenes and integrate them into the movie as a special feature. Chances are slim to none but you never know (Another thing on my wish list!)

Also you never know, maybe one day some film buff will find the missing reels at a car boot sale! (Works for old B&W Doctor Who episodes!)

heres some of those missing storyboards. they only cover the movie from the beginning up to the point the Decepticons are fighting for the leadership on Astrotrain though. ive looked, but cant seem to find anywhere else online with the rest of them. enjoy!
