not really, becuase of the price of them id rather pay that little bit more or less inmost cases and have a genuine item

knock offs should be priced as knock offs, so should be around the $10-15 mark max simple

I'm inclined to agree - I still can't understand how a repro boxed Gen 1 Sunstreaker is hitting the £100 mark?

As for the knock off figures, I think that it's shocking they reach the same money as the TFC or Encore re-issues.

Sorry Swoop, looks like the auction ended - I think that the figure ended up selling for more than £100.  Scary stuff.

There's no need to apologise to these bastards, Perc, my man.

Those KO Reflectors take the piss. Especially the seller who was putting them out last year with £300 worth of 'freebies' (which amounted to the £5 comic scan CDs, he'd calculated the value based on cost price of every comic + TPB).

wow! Anyone wanna offer me £300 for a copy of my comics scan cd? I'll throw in £1000000 worth of sliced carrots (based on the cost of selling each individual carrot slice for £9700 + salty water to keep them in.)

Why exactly do they need competition?

Because they're getting too complacent in their position without it.  That'd be my answer.

I already have replacements for my vintage G1s.

They're called reissues.

The only one of these China G1 reissues I got was Mirage. Its pretty cool, decent quality and cost me about £20 inc. shipping which I thought was fair enough.

I agree that they are becoming ever more expensive and they shouldn't be - its not like they will actually be worth anything in the long run as they're knock offs.

What I would say is that someone is going to great lengths to reproduce characters that HasTak aren't bothering with, and for the most part, the quality is decent.

If Hastak really want to put a stop to this, they need to release the stuff that people clearly want. Now I understand that some molds may no longer be available, but someone's managing to reproduce these KOs somehow. Plus, Mattel managed to reproduce their comemorative He-Man figures. As the molds and (suprisingly) even the artwork for the original '80s figures was long gone, the used exsisting figures and scoured the internet for the box art and pack in comic to faithfully reproduce the figures. I appreciate that TFs are a mite more complex, but it can clearly be done! So c'mon HasTak - sort it out - give us a Dinobot 5 pack!
