So which one is it?  I've done this off the top of my head but I think I got all the main ones.

I so wanted to vote for Impactor but Straxus just about edged it for me!

It was between Impactor and Xaaron, but the latter won. I just liked him better in Target: 2006.

Scrounge, Devcon, Flame, Macabre and Chameleon are hardly characters, and I don't even know who Wipeout is.

I voted for Impactor because of his design and after seeing Fourth Heir's Art work of him.

Impactor because the only comics I have read are the Target:2006 Story (really).

Emirate Xaaron is the guy I voted for. He was one great commander. He's like Alpha Trion at the base level, only less senile and far better in terms of character. For he lead the Autobot fight against the Decepticons from below the destroyed ruins of Iacon, but his spirit was not confined to such. His fear of transforming, fearing that the shock would kill him, was also neat. Plus you gotta dig Fourth Heir's drawing of the old guy, tis bitchin'.

The poor sod also deserves the vote for getting blown up by Unicron. Nasty.

Xaaron whined far too much for my liking. I'm going for Rack N' Ruin- I'd give my back teeth for a toy of those two. Or any of the non-toy Wreckers.

Wipeout appeared in the Marvel US story "King of the Hill". He was Trypticon's sidekick until he got trashed by the Dinobots.

iceman: I suppose I was pushing it a bit with Macabre and Chameleon (and Wipeout too for that matter) but the others seem fair enough to me.

I know I know  But I'm in the process of buying them all... slowly... I've ordered two novel thingies though I have no idea what order they go in or if they are near each other.  I thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink they were dinobot hunt + unicron's legacy?  Summit like that.

Why were these characters ever made?  There were hundreds of TF toys that could've been marketed, so why annoy kids by making characters that didn't have toys?

Poor Scrounge. Undervalued by his teammates, died a hero (in a scene James Cameron ripped off for T2) and is now not even seen as a proper character... I actually had a tear in my eye the first time I read 'The Smelting Pool'.

And Flame's a proper character, too - the star of the 'City of Fear' storyline.

You damn right he died a hero, poor little guy. Whilst I didn't exactly cry when he died, you can't help but feel a twinge of sadness.

Also, why was Perceptor such an arse in that issue?

I voted for Impactor because I think he's the best character of the bunch.

Scrounge was a great little character. I did like Xaaron too. But nothing beats a bit of Impactor action.

They were mostly cannon fodder!  I love all of these guys anyway (well, most of them) because they were part of the stories I grew up with. Not having the toys didn't really bother me because there were plenty of toys you couldn't get over here anyway.

Darn straight! How can anyone not love Scrounge? Poor little guy.

What I meant to say is that Scrounge and Flame lasted for 1 story, then were just killed off. Then again, Impactor also only lasted for 1 story (well, the alive version...). So I guess they are character enough after all.

Devcon, Macabre (how many pages was he on? 2, 3??) and Chameleon weren't though.

And I always thought that Wipeout was actually Full Tilt, but I guess I was wrong.
