I'm going to buy a G1 Skywarp on Ebay in near future.
Do you suggest me the original 80's version or commemorative series?
Do they present little differences?

Please let me know

Get the Takara version. The Hasbro reissue has elongated missiles.

Those are impossible to find. If you don't care about owning something old, just get a reissue and some original missiles.

Hmm, good suggestion.

Too bad I can't do the same with my Powermaster Prime reissue, seeing God Bomber's stinkin' rare and all.

Go for the Robotmasters or Classics Skywarp instead, unless you want a real brick in bot mode.

I'd never thought to receive so many replies .

Starscream and Skywarp are my favourite seekers, and I appreciate Skywarp for the coloring choices that gave him.
It was a pleasure watching the images of the boxes in this topic.

I have seen on Ebay that original Skywarp in condition very, very good and with whole weaponry, although not mint, are usually rather expensive,I think that I'll buy the commemorative  reissue.I didn't know of the different missiles,I'll buy them in future.

To Swoop:
you're right, in robot mode is a little brick ,and in fact I thought to buy commemorative  Skywarp  and leave him in jet mode as a model ,because the toy is much more beautiful in this  mode, with weaponry too.

For the robot mode I though to other things,in fact.
I already knew the "Heroes of Cybertron"Skywarp action figures and  I thought to buy it too for the robot mode display ...

However I didn't know the "classics"Skywarp until now,and although is a little different from the cartoon ,in robot mode is very beautiful, very impressive and detailed. For robot mode display I could buy that.
Again, thanks to you all for the info .
