Has anyone else picked up BM S2 on DVD from Sony? I wondering if you discs are missing the "previously on Beast Machines" parts at the beginning of the episodes?

Also, does Rhino's Beast Machines set include them?

No recaps on mine either.

On a completely unrelated note - just been playing the second disc of the second season in my PC, and it's just gone from Sparkwar part 1 to Sparkwar part 3 when I'm viewing the play all episodes feature.  I then went onto the episode menu and clicked Sparkwar part 2 and nothing happened.  Anyone else having problems?  I'll try it in different DVD player in a bit.

Got mine from HMV for under £7. It's not a big complain not having the recaps as you end up watching the episodes one after another so dont need a recap. The only episode that SHOULD have the recap is episode 14, as it sums up the events at the end of season 1.

I'm currently writing a review so just wanted to be sure. The weird thing is that the BBFC site indicates that the episodes should have them.

Also, they've used some Beast Wars images on the boxart.

I don't have this problem.

Must have been my PC doing odd things.  Tried in a proper DVD player and it worked properly, then tried it in the PC again and it worked.  Thanks for checking though.

Just finished watching this and I really enjoyed it. These DVD sets are the first time I've seen Beast Machines and it's a lot better than i was expecting. Obviously it has some faults, specifically Cybertron having an organic core, the idea of a plant Transformer (although I didn't mind Botanica as a character) and the finsl episodes involving most of the Maximals screaming "That's our future!" whenever the Vehicons blow anything up.
I actually found the series to be the most watchable TF series for a while. I could watch 3-4 episodes at omce and not get tired of it at all. The characters are all really good and go well together, especially Optimus Primal and Megatron. Megatron is just fantastic throughout, obviously helped by David Kaye's voice. The animation is flawed at times like the explosions and all the Transformers running over the hill at the very end. Didn't stop me enjoying the series though.
