Terrorsaur and Scorpinok both fell in the lava in the episode Aftermath. BA even meantioned that Sorpinok and Terrorsaur weren't around.

Anyone else think they had incredibly lame deaths (but then, they were lame characters anyway)? It's even easy to miss them falling into the lava, with the way that scene is done.
(And one of them was going Transmetal in the lava, judging from the glowing arm that can be sinking into the lava).

my thinking is, terrorsaur is fed up with megatron's command and decides to MIA.

Scorponok had gotten completely obsolete. He started as a brilliant scientist, but soon the writers found out that Tarantulas was better for the job and Scorpy became just a brainless thug (even loosing the ability to speak normally). Seeing as there were others around for that job, or going to be around, they just wrote him off.
Terrorsaur was similar. He was just the Starscream of the series, but Blackarachnia and (again) Tarantulas took over the treacherous sidekick role, and yet again someone became obsolete.
TBH, there deaths were quite uninspring. I never really even noticed Scorponok dying at the same moment.
Finally, some Matt Nelson pictures that show both the decrease of intelligence of Scorponok and how important these two characters had become:
