Who do you think would win in a fight with their counterpart.

Like Optimus Primal in Beast Wars Vs. Optimus Primal in Beast Machines.

There is Black Arachnia, Rattrap, Rhinox vs. Tankor, Cheetor.

Thrust vs. Waspinator, Megatron, Silver Bolt something vs. Jetstorm.

I'm not comparing the two series and just looking for honest opinions on who would win with their other series counterparts. And why, if you have the time.

BW Optimus Primal vs BM Optimus Primal - depends which BW Primal. Transmetal and Optimal can easily beat BM Primal, not too sure about the original. BM seems bulkier.

Black Arachnia - BW BA. She has more weaponry, plus a less vulnerable alt mode (those long long legs...)

Rattrap - BW Rattrap. Come on, BM Rattrap is either a rat or a little kiddie with wheels for legs who doesn't even have a gun.

Rhinox vs Tankor - tough one. Rhinox has his chain guns, Tankor (let's assume the smart version) has more powerful weapons. I'd still say Rhinox because Tankor's cannon is slower than the chain guns.

Cheetor - Transmetal 2 would win because of brute power, otherwise it's BM Cheetor. He has so much more experience and maturity.

Thrust vs Waspinator - Thrust easily. Even those pre-humans defeated Waspinator, which is why he returned to Cybertron.

Megatron - BW. BM Megs is too frustrated with his beast mode, and for the rest BM Megs is just TM2 Megs in a cape. Or a dragon/wolf hybrid. Or a little drone. Or a floating head.

Silverbolt vs Jetstorm - Jetstorm, he has a killer edge. Even BM Silverbolt has more of it than goody two-shoes BW Silverbolt.

all BW characters would win, cuz all the BM dudes would be too busy preaching to one another

It seems as though, for the most part, the Beast Wars characters had more firepower than their Beast Machines counterparts, whereas the Beast Machines character had more combat experience and were more suited to guerrilla tactics. Regarding which would win in a fight, it depends on the situation; in a straight-up fight, the Beast Wars characters would have the advantage due to their superior firepower, but in a situation in which the Beast Machines incarnations could take advantage of the environment around them, they may be able to overcome their limited firepower.
