i apologize if im wasting ur time.

i heard that female transformers like Arcee arent true females anatomically since they're all machines and maybe its just coincidence they resemble human females..... BM blackarachnia is part organic right? does that mean she's a true female anatomically?

Feeling guilty about not wearing the Boxing Gloves whilst watching?

FINALLY found out what one was.

Turbofoxes are a form of Cybertronic fauna. Despite being one of the first recorded forms of non-Transformer Cybertronic life, not much is known about the species and they have never been pictured. We DO know they're fast. Very fast. To the point that only the speediest of robots can hope to approach them.

Sounds like a form of wildlife. I wonder how they reproduce without Vector Sigma, or is V-S mainly used to create Tfs?

Transformers are male and female, don't let any delusional fans tell you otherwise.  Female TFs have appeared in every series bar RiD, but even then they're made reference to.

They're also shown to have romantic interests. They must be used for reproduction. They're obviously far, far more advanced robots than we take them for. This contradicts the fact that the Matrix grants TFs life, sooo...

(I love getting to pop this everywhere :P)

"When a spark goes on-line, there is great joy..."
Rhinox, "The Spark"

As seen in G1, fan fiction, Energon, Galaxy Force and Beast Wars, Transformers have two sexes which are attracted to each other. Such a thing is ridiculous if these are robots constructed for a purpose, but as we have already explored, these are living mechanical beings, and so we shall roll with it. Producing offspring in the Transformers universe is often a blurred area at best, so this is how it- in theory- would happen:

When a male and a female transformer get together, they can allow their sparks to come together and mix, producing a new spark with traits of both parents. The spark is then carefully contained, like a newborn baby, and taken to giant Nursery facilities, located deep underground. Upon entering this nursery, the sparks are placed in pods, and are nurtured by sentient computers, often fondly referred to as 'mecha-nannies'.

The pods are reminiscent of the birthing pillars from the Matrix trillogy- giant pillars with the pods attached to them, but on a slightly smaller scale. From these pods, the sparks are fed information about the basics of life and morality, but ultimately are allowed to make their own decisions, keeping and discarding information as they see fit. This information comes straight from the Matrix: the allspark. Once a transformer dies, his spark rejoins the Matrix, its knowledge becomming one with other sparks. This ensures that, when a new spark is generated, a mix of characteristics from previous sparks is fed it, effectively replicating the biological concept of genetic inheritance.

As the sparks mature, they are 'fed' their protoform bodies, which mould around them eventually taking solid form. The foetal form of a modern Cybertronian is a partially organic, partially robotic pre-body called the “Protoform”. Protoforms are neither manufactured no
r born, but something in between. When this happens, the pods are lowered, and the being inside them is released.

It's an amalgam of all the various forms of TF reproduction shown so that it makes logical sense. It's nothing more than fan guesswork, though it provides something more interesting to think about than simply 'some TFs coincidentally look female'.

It's funny but even to this day since reading Matrix and Random's notes on everything about Transformer life I've seen them as the 'official' theories.

Wasn't there a scene in Beast Wars where Blackarachnia (non-TM) was scanned and had what looked like female reproductive organs?
