Well im sure they have the original source files for the original series, they could just rerender them to a higher quality, maybe alter the models so they look better...

True, but it would look pretty gross when they transform, what with all of the "flesh" and "fur" ripping apart at certain places. f**king disgusting but still an interesting concept.

Hence why they screamed when they transformed. LOL.

High quality film, yes. But I don't know about all this ripping flesh and skin, though.

I have an idea for a Beast Wars movie. Shortly after the end of Beast Machines series, some dorment robots on previously set up by Megatron on one of Cybertron's moons can come online and travel through the time/space distortion leading to ancient Earth in an attempt to alter the outcome of the Beast Wars. However, the protoforms show up right at the time of the quantum wave (at the beginning of Season 2) and some of them become Fuzors. Later in the movie, some of the Fuzors become the Beast Wars Mutants (like the toy line from several years ago).

Something like that happened in one of the Harry Potter movie with a guy turning into a werewolf, so it should not be a big deal.

Fleh. Probably did a scan and found it odd that all the pods were empty.

All of the stasis-pod TFs in orbit are liberated by Magmatron and Razorbeast.

I doubt Beast Wars would work as a film.

It's strengths were that the writers took it beyond simply being a merchandising project, with a small group of excellent characters, dialogue, and stories.

And the LAM also had a small group of characters. However, under Bay's direction, the TFs were secondary to the humans, and only Optimus Prime and Bumblebee had anything approaching characterisation. The rest could only dream of being developed as characters.

That could get seriously confusing. Some people time travel to alter the outcome of a war that itself sprang up because another bunch of people time-travelled to alter the outcome of another war whilst at the same time a third group are wandering around slighly out of phase with the rest of the universe so as to be invisible.

but the tv beast wars chaps didnt know the comic beast wars were going on, so why did they not make an effort to find their mates? Seems a bit of an oversight to me...

After the defeat of Megatron, the next scene we see is the Maximals taking off back to Cybertron with Megatron tied to the outer hull. Perhaps between those two scenes, the Maximals from the TV show did look for their fellow Transformers.

Well, seeing as they omitted the "let's give G1 Megs his spark back" part, they could've omitted this as well.

But suppose they didn't? Time paradox!

And an idea for a new Transformers G1 cartoon: The Great War on Earth....without the original Megatron!

I imagine the Decepticon threat would be unimaginably greater.

I imagine the Decepticon threat would be unimaginably greater.

Starscream: We're on a new world and Megatron's spark has been extinguished. Decepticons! Follow me!

Skywarp: Phooey on you, Starscream! I woke up first; I should be Decepticon leader.

Thundercracker: I wouldn't follow you two to a repair bay. I'll lead.

Soundwave: Negative. I will take charge.

Starscream: Says who!?

*fighting commence*

*15 minutes later*

Optimus Prime: What happened since we crashed? Looks like all the Decepticons were destroyed on impact.
