To be fair, if you know anything about Frank Miller and what 300 was based on, it's not too hard to find some amount of racism/culturalism. I mean, making the Persians black and the Greeks white... WTF was with that? Persians weren't that much darker.

 Having said that doesn't Xerxes Empire spread over loads of countries? Though you're right, I don't think I saw a single Persian in that was near white. They were either black or grotesque.
