Hi

First, i am german ,sorry for my bad english or something is wrong with my grammatic ;)

In Germany exist only 25 comics + some special issues.... i find a list and see that the german comics are not complete and miss very much numbers between the stories

So i want to look for the us comics and/or the uk comics but i see that usa has 80 comics+ specials and i see uk comics with more than #200 numbers...

so now iam confussed...are the uk comics the same? or are the us comics not complete?

if i want the complete old transformers comics, what should i buy?

greets

The uk comics consist of the entire us run plus a good number of uk exclusive stories. Pm if you want scans of the lot, no one should be deprived such comicy goodness. And dont worry about being german, we expend all our deutschehatred on Blaster, even though he talks like a miner.

ok

thanks for the answer... are more stories in the us comics than in the uk comics or are the numbers of the uk exklusives so much that they have over 200 issues compared to the 80+ US issues ?

Well, most of the us stories got split into two parts in the uk edition, but seeing as the uk comic was fortnightly and weekly as opposed to the us comics monthly run, they had to create some new stories to fill in the gaps. So about half the uk issues are uk exclusive stories, the other half being prints of the us stories.

Well, like i said before, get in touch, i can get you the complete scans. Or if you ask one of the knowledgable types here they can probably tell you which us and uk comics you specifically need to get to complete the collection in the smallest amount of issues.

All of the US stories and almost all the UK ones have been reprinted in Trade Paperback form now, which is a pretty easy way of getting them all.

There's a list of them here: http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Titan_Books

And if you're interested I even have some of the US ones for sale.

yeah i prefer paperbacks...often they are cheaper than the single comics and then i dont have too much loose comics

if u want u can write me what u have and what u want...

if i look on this site i have to ask if the uk paperbacks includes the exklusive stories? or they are mixed to with stories from the us releases?

The UK paperbacks (Prey, Second Generation, Target: 2006) etc. only contain the UK stories.
