I'm sure we all know what Dark Glass is, and if not....

In a Bottalk thread about BW Spotlights, someone made a brilliant suggestion that this could be a way of doing Dark Glass (or if not, as a one-shot/mini-series.

DG has been done as an online fan comic, but that was just going off the rather sparse info we've gleaned from the show writers. It wasn't bad, but was rather short (and is it even online anymore?). A proper version would be cool, along with a series of Spotlights on the show cast, and would surely be more interesting than the rather poor miniseries about the non-show lot.

It was by Genome studios, I think. I really want to read their story about Protoform X again- it was awesome. (The Artwork adorns the signature of our member with the same name)

But yeah, it'd be nice to see IDW do a proper version. Problem is, I can't see it happening, seeing as how they were so eager to wrap up Beast Wars and have done with it that they allowed such an incredible quality drop for The Ascending.

Furman and IDW should never have anything to do with BW again.

Ever.

But they probably will.

Until, at least, another company takes over the TF license (assuming IDW lose it at some point).  Furman seems to be everyone's 'go-to' guy when a TF story needs writing, so unless whover holds the license at any given time realizes that he's not the only dude on Earth who should be allowed to scribe a TF tale, and allows someone else a crack of the whip, then I dare say Furman will return to Beast Wars again eventually...
