Out tomorrow in UK comic shops, I'm really looking forward to this one.

Yet the TFs took terrible. Prime's simply been traced and Bumblebee's the wrong design.

Pity we HAVE to get it, as it's in-continuity and effects devastation.

I am suprised either are counting it as cannon to be fair. Hulk goin on a rampage. Just have Megs shoot him full blast.

Where is it in the TF continutiy, I though it was between Inflitration and Escilation.

Which is odd, as there doesn't *seem* to be too much of a gap.

Transformers being canonical in Marvel and vice versa is ridiculous- surely some sort of Doctor Who style explanation can be found to change things. Who cares about giant Transforming robots? With people in spandex who can fly, you can believe nigh-on anything.

I dont understand how it will fit in with either continuity, for starters Ive seen a cover with captain america on it and he snuffed it a couple of months back. They should keep it like the gijoe crossovers and keep it as a one off thing. Oh, and sorry to sound like a Marvel Zombie, but a full on blast from Megatron wouldnt kill the hulk, it would just make him angry.

Although it would be kind of cool to see a transformers vs megamorphs grudge match. The Battle for Domination of the Transforming Toy Market...

This story is set before Civil War, hence Cap being alive.

Oh thats ok then. Youd wonder why, if its set in the recent past, none of the marvel characters would mention seeing a bunch of alien transforming robots fighting each other for some reason. Maybe they forgot about it, or maybe its just not in continuity. If it were in continuity, does it mean therell be superpeople appearing all over the place in upcoming tf stories?

I think its non continuity for Marvel and semi canon for TF.

As Matrix said, people would not be to fussed about giant robots if you are
used to Sentry flying about etc.

And no Megs shooting Hult might not kill him- might stop him for a while.

Just read it- surprised by how much fun it was. I'm taking it in its stride, and it's surprisingly rather enjoyable!

It reads like an introduction to transformers for avengers fans rather than the other way around. Theres an awful lot of marvel characters and subcharacters to absorb in one go. And it doesnt seem to fit with the continuity of the idw comics. Im gonna take it as a stand alone thing unless developments in the comic tell me otherwise.

Although its supposedly in continuity, I doubt it will be significant. We might see some conflict between characters which will carry over, or characters mentioned who will turn up later, but thats all. Doesn't stop it beinga good story though.

Events in this mini have a direct affect on Devastation, apparently- I'd like to think of it as being outside of continuity too though.

Got this yesterday - quite enjoyed it actually.  I see Wolverine is still keeping up his tradition of appearing in every comic title on Earth - whether it's in Marvel continuity or not!

Anyway, as I said, a good read.  It did serve primarily as an introduction to the TFs for Avengers fans, as fudgecrumpet said, rather than the other way around.  Which was a good move, in my opinion - I'd have preferred that to seeing the TFs going all out from page 1 onward.  It's definitely got me pysched for issue 2 - Wolverine vs Optimus Prime?  Bring it on!!!
