Just wondered if anyone indulges in a spot of online Poker and if so which Casino/ company do you use?

I'm playing on pokerroom.com at the moment, but am being offered a free £30 by Mansion, so might give them a shot in the near future.

Anyone else?

STOP!

Don't worry children.

What Overlord is doing is not gambling real money, but in fact gambling magical internet jelly beans that won't push him tragically into debt, ruin his life and force him to dance like a monkey on the streets of Leeds just so that he can buy a moderately warm polystyrene cup full of watered down pisswasser that a dodgy Cafe has affectionately decided is fit enough to call 'Tea'.

P.S Mansion is indeed good and worth a punt. A couple of my friends use that service.

I've thought about it, but decided in the end, it's not really me.  I have a friend plays all the time.  For money occasionally.  He's good enough to come out about even at the end of a month's accumulated playing.

I do like Kenny Rogers-The Gambler. We have both Texas Poker on the PC the missus plays it alot as for other card games, I lost interest after becoming a millionaire and then facing  reality whilst shopping and filling the car.

$1.20 tournaments hardly constitute a gambling addiction? I play every few night and its not for the thrill of gambling, I actually enjoy playing the game itself against people who can play, rather than w*nk*rs who go all in, in a tournament with 7 6 off suit and end up beating my king queen suited on the flop, (Last night).

Far more fun to play in person as opposed to the internet though. Not much beats reading your opponents expressions and figuring out what hand they've got.

I played a lot of poker in school, and got one straight flush in two years of playing.

I got three in one night online.

It's at this point I decided the algorithms were rigged to maximise pot size and, consequently, the rake.

I enjoy the banter and the psychology of poker, and it's not the same online, even if some tosspiece is typing crap in a shoutbox.

Not yet seen a straight flush online or in person. A couple of weeks ago I got dealt pocket 3's and the flop was ace, 3, 3. Nothing beats the banter and expression reading of face to face poker.

Funniest thing ever was when we stacked a deck so my mate ended up with four kings, but the guy to his right had four aces.
