Well I thought I'd better recreate this thread for all us petrolheads.

Anyone see the European GP?. Massively disapointed to see Raikkonen go off on the last lap, but at least Alonso won.

Annoying thing is that Michael finished 5th and Rubens 3rd. Why they were chuffing about this result I don't know. They only got the podium due to Raikkonen's retirement, and if Trulli had not been penalised and Webber had not had his accident then it would have been 5th and 7th.

I should be getting my tickets for the British GP any day now.

Looks like the silly season has started already. Barrichello is apparently wanting to leave Ferrari and go to BAR replacing Jenson Button, who is Williams bound.

If this is true then who will be leaving Williams?. I think that Heidfeld has so far very much earned his seat.

I think it's about time the old timers and crappies called it a day and made way for the latest batch of up and coming drivers. Coulthard, Villeneuve, Barrichello and Sato should leave. I'd like to see Motagny or Kovalainen in the Renault, Davidson and Wheldon in the BAR, and as soon as Piquet and Rosberg can get in the better.

Congrats to Wheldon for winning the Indy 500, first time a Brit has won since Graham Hill. As a special plus Danica Patrick was fourth...definatly the fittest female racing driver around. Maybe it's just the mix of a racing car and a women....but hey

I want Raikkonen to win now.  I have no idea how he was able to control his car for so long, that was simply amazing.

Yea best of luck to her. I see that Jeff Gordon said he wouldn't race her as she has a weight advantage (being a woman) and would only do so if she was made to carry ballast.

Sounds like plain sexism to me.

Great grand prix yesterday. Mega pleased that Raikkonen was able to win and make up for the Nurburgring, although surprised to see Alonso hitting the wall.

Irratating that Michael lucked into the podium. If Alonso, Fisichella, Montoya and Button had finished he would have been 6th.

Yep, pretty good race. I was happy with the result, it keeps the championship interesting and I really don't mind which of them wins it.

Same here really (although I'd prefer Raikkonen as I'm a massive McLaren fan), just as long as Schuey doesn't win again.

I'm gutted for Fisi. Poor sod. And I bet Montoya has lost it totally over the McLaren team orders about pitting. Good lord I wouldn't want to be his boss...

Fisi seems to be having all the sh*t luck at the moment. I felt sorry for him especially as Montreal is a track he always likes racing on.

Apparantly Montoya was called into the pit first, but he was trying to talk on the radio at the same time as the team and no one could hear anything. I just hope he doesn't get a ban.

Just to clarify, it wasn't Jeff Gordon who complained. It was Robby Gordon (no relation).

Nor did I to be honest. You can read all the rules and technical jargon here if your interested.

http://www.formula1.com/insight/rulesandregs/13/506.html

I see Schumacher thinks he can win at Indy.....poor misguided fool.

Well here's hoping the boys in Red pick up their first win of the season at Indy and start reeling Kimmi and Fernando in!

You watching Le Mans too Galvatron?

I think that Jenson Button has more chance than Ferrari winning on Sunday  (Christ I'm enjoying this)

I'll probably watch the start, some of the night and the finish. Basically the best bits.
