Hola  Saw this on the vodafone site (the top one in the table, specifically).

In terms of minutes and texts, it offers a lot more than I'm currently getting for that price... infact a little too much, so I'm wondering if there's a catch I'm missing?  Also the 30 day thing... does that leave us in limbo afterwards?  I mean Iid let everyone know my new number... but then would I have to keep doing this every month? And is there any guarantee the offer would stilll be around?

Thanks in anticipation to anyone who's got the time to read my novel and address those questions. Totally mobile-naive am I

Gotta be honest Prezzle's, I've never heard of a 30 day contract before, however, I doubt very very much you'd need to keep changing your number, when contracts expire you can usually renew them without changing, and usually dont have to do anything to do it.

Best thing you can do is have a natter with the guys at Vodafone

Agreed, contracted mobile phones, in my experience, only end if

a) you speciffically phone (insert company) to cancel.

b) ( insert company) phone you and ask if you want to carry on contract, and usually offer a free spanky handset)

c) you get cut off for not paying bills, and ( insert company) send you a final bill pretty sharpish to get rid of ya.

Ive been a customer with Orange for bloody yonks now, on contract, and its paid off marvously!

It will run until you cancel it.

The reason its a 30 day contract is that as you do not get a phone we (I work for VF) dont have to subsidise the handset so have to costs to re-coup back.

So you can leave after 30 days. But it wont lapse until you want it to,

ahh... so although it's 30 day, I could just never say "I'd like out"... then every month it starts anew? I like it Works for me too cos I've not long had my new mobile so I don't mind getting a sim only deal.

So is there a catch I'm missing, or does it just appear good because it is and because they don't need to squeeze a handset price out of me?
