He looks okay. But what the hell does he have to do with the movie?
If they still have that awful idea of electronic devices coming to life. . . i'll cry.

Even if they don't I knew they'd bring out toys of characters that wouldnt be in the movie. Its only natural to want to make money afterall. Especially for Hasbro.

In virtually every line since Armada there has been a RolePlay toy, barr Cyb. I fully expected these kinds of toys and look forward to owning them.

I doubt they will but since there aren't too many TF in the movie,
Hasbro have to make some non-movie appearing TF to sell to make money
afterall. Plus I'm sure this is much better than countless repaints of the
same character like karate chop Optimus Prime, Underwater Optimus Prime
etc.
But I'll be getting him, it's a nice toy plus the awesomeness of Gasket appearing on the view screen has sold it for me. ^_^

Why not? The idea sounds thoroughly Transformers.

It sounds really cheesy thats all. I'd rather watch actual transformer battles than watch cameras come to life.

The idea behind the "Allspark" macguffin that forms the core of the movie's plot is that it can bring machinery to life. So, it's basically the Creation Matrix. And all these real-life item toys we're seeing are presumably the result of it being put to use.

Not sure to what extent yet... I think it's going to be a lot more limited than it first was.

Even before that really, I guess you could count Soundwave, Megs, Shockwave, Blaster, Reflector etc as roleplay toys too.

I don't ever recall machines coming to life magically in Transformers, especially not when they rebuild themselves from inanimate object to robot. Kinda takes away the whole advanced alien aspect and makes them just machines.
